BIOL 3000L - Introduction to Entomology Laboratory Introduction to the study of insects. Arthropod evolution, insect taxonomy, systematics, and identification, internal and external morphology, social insects and insect pests, insects of human health concern and vectors of human disease, and Integrated Pest Management. The laboratory emphasizes insect identification and collecting, and includes field trips. This course requires either concurrent enrollment in or previous completion of BIOL 3000 .
