PHYS 1141 - General Physics II Usually offered fall and spring semesters. Second of a two-course sequence (PHYS 1121-1141) for majors in physics and engineering treating electricity and magnetism, electromagnetic waves, physical optics, and modern physics. Lecture and laboratory courses are integrated in a class room equipped with computers, interfaced probes and traditional laboratory equipment that enhances the interactive learning, hands-on experiences and conceptual understanding of physics. Three two hour lecture/lab sessions and one one-hour problem session per week. Prerequisite: PHYS 1121 Corequisite: MATH 2080 4
