EDCI 5820 - Advanced Seminar in Children’s Literature

Literature is written to invite the reader to experience life in new ways. This course is designed to update teachers’ knowledge of writers and illustrators of children’s literature, to explore early adolescent literature, and to develop a sense of how children’s literature fits into the larger framework of the family of literature.
