FREN 1010 - Elementary French 1 Usually offered fall and spring semesters. An introductory course for students with little or no previous training in French. Experiential French learned through on-site historical and cultural observations and participation in regional activities throughout French-speaking Louisiana. Emphasis on the four foundational skills: comprehension, reading, speaking, and writing. This course is not for students who have previously studied French and/or who are heritage speakers of French.
