MSCM 4010 - Producing Television Newscasts Through hands-on experience, students learn to write, format and produce television newscasts. Students are expected to make critical decisions regarding newscast content, treatment and journalistic integrity while creating highly attractive and promotable newscasts under deadline. Prerequisites: MSCM 2500 , MSCM 3210 , and MSCM 3190 , but MSCM 3210 may be taken concurrently with permission of the instructor. (3)
