THEO 1122 - Introduction to Biblical Hebrew(HBWR 1122 ) An introductory course for students with little or no previous training in Hebrew. Introduces basic vocabulary and grammatical structure. Theological focus includes reading in the Hebrew language and discussing theophanies, biblical law, descriptions of God, and biblical poetry. Also introduces students to textual criticism. All Theology Courses are reading and writing intensive. Students may satisfy the Theology six-semester hour Core Curriculum requirement by successfully completing any two Theology Courses. Prerequisite: Successful completion of all English/Reading developmental coursework. (3)
