Candidates must have a valid teaching certificate at the master’s degree level and complete the following twelve credit hours of coursework:

  • ECSS 5130 - Foundations of Reading
  • ECSS 5170 - Diagnostic and Prescriptive Reading
  • ECSS 5200 - Practicum in Reading
  • ECSS 5140 - Reading in the Content Area
