PHYS 2111 - General Physics II Usually offered fall and spring semesters. Second of a three-course sequence (PHYS 1121 -2111-PHYS 2530 ) for majors in physics and engineering treating sound, vibrations and waves, heat and geometric optics. Lecture and laboratory courses are integrated in a class room equipped with computers, interfaced probes and traditional laboratory equipment that enhances the interactive learning, hands-on experiences and conceptual understanding of physics. Three two hour lecture/lab sessions and one one-hour problem session per week. Prerequisite: PHYS 1121 . Corequisite: MATH 2070 . (4, FaSp)
