ALCS 3015 - Afro Latin America and Caribbean Culture and Readings(AADS 3020 ) A survey of selected Francophone oral and written literature and the social, cultural and historic factors that have given rise to their development throughout the Francophone societies of Africa and the New World Diaspora, particularly in the Antilles. Class participants will develop an ability to read critically in a literature that is the product of cultures that may be unfamiliar to them. Taught in English. (3)
