ECON 2070 - Statistics I

Descriptive statistics, probability, discrete and probability distributions, sampling distributions, interval estimation, hypothesis testing, tests for goodness of fit and independence, regression analysis- simple and multiple, regression analysis and model building residual analysis and the Durbin-Watson test, and time series analysis. Students required to complete ECON 2070 may not earn divisional credit for other research methods or applied quantitative analysis courses without approval by the chairperson. Students may not receive credit for both MATH 2010 (STAT 1020) and ECON 2070.
