PHYS 2121 - General Physics III Usually offered fall and spring semesters. Third of a three-course sequence (PHYS 1121 -PHYS 2111 -2121) for majors in physics and engineering treating electricity and magnetism, electromagnetic waves, physical optics, and modern physics. Lecture and laboratory courses are integrated in a classroom equipped with computers, interfaced probes and traditional laboratory equipment that enhances the interactive learning, hands-on experiences and conceptual understanding of physics. Three two hour lecture/lab sessions and one one-hour problem session per week. Prerequisite: PHYS 2111 . Corequisite: MATH 2080 . (4, FaSp)
