FREN 1020 - Elementary French Usually offered fall and spring semesters. An introductory course for students with little or no previous training in French. Emphasis upon the four skills of comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing. Basic vocabulary and grammatical structures appropriate to the development of intermediate-level communication.
