COUN 5310 - Clinical Mental Health Counseling: Principles & Practices

This course focuses on strategies for counselors and specific skills that will enable individuals, families, groups and communities to take charge of their own lives and set their own direction, preventive education and life skills training, the specifics of helping vulnerable populations, developmental models, the clinical mental health helper as a change agent, the four-component clinical mental health counseling model and the management of diverse ideas and concepts.
