GREK 1124 - Introduction to Biblical Greek(THEO 1124 ) This course provides a basic introduction to the Greek language used in writing the New Testament. The student will be instructed in the basic morphology of koine Greek in order to develop translation skills from Greek to English and facilitate readings of New Testament passages and for interpreting various Christological views. The grammar is deductive in approach. This course also introduces students to the study of textual criticism and the textual apparatus of The Greek New Testament. Prerequisite: successful completion of all English/Reading developmental coursework. (3)
