ROME 4430 - Capstone Design Project II This is a final year design project where student undertakes an engineering project related to robotics/mechatronics including standards and realistic constraints that include the following considerations: economic; environmental; sustainability; manufacturability; constructability; ethical; health and safety; social; and political. These projects involve creative conception, design, development, construction, and evaluation. Students work in small groups under the guidance of a faculty advisor. Progress reports are required in two semesters. The students must submit a report, an oral presentation and demonstration are also required at the end of the capstone design projects. Prerequisite(s): ROME 2320 , ROME 3120 , ROME 3321 , and ROME 3420 . (3)
