PCLN 4730 - Advanced Topics in Cardiology

This course presents students with an evidence based approach to the therapeutic and supportive management of advanced cardiology patients. The course will review basic topics covered in Disease State Management and will take a systems approach in managing advanced cardiology patients focusing on topics not covered in Disease State Management. The student will be introduced to information on the natural course of cardiovascular diseases in a population and the effect of interventions at critical points to delay or prevent morbidity or mortality.
