SOCI 4055 - Black Family(AADS 4055 ) This course is a study of the Black family in the U.S. It compares and contrasts differences and similarities among Black families, especially taking into account class and family formation. This course also addresses the treatment of the Black family in academic and governmental literature. Prerequisites: Any 1000 level sociology course, and junior or senior standing, or instructor’s permission. (3)
